Question 1

How much does a mobile notary visit cost?

Accepted Answer

Most local appointments start with a $25 travel fee inside the Cocoa Beach and central Brevard zones, plus the per-document notary fee. Evening, weekend, hospital, and longer-distance visits can add a quoted fee. You receive the complete written quote before confirming, so there are no surprises at the appointment.

Question 2

What ID do I need to bring?

Accepted Answer

Bring a current, unexpired government-issued photo ID, such as a Florida or out-of-state driver license, state ID card, US passport, or US military ID. The original is required — a photocopy or phone photo will not work. Every signer must have acceptable identification ready before signing.

Question 3

What should I expect during the appointment?

Accepted Answer

Have the unsigned documents, every signer, and any required witnesses ready when Ernest arrives. He checks identification, confirms the signing details, administers any required oath, watches each signature, and completes the notarial certificate, stamp, and journal entry. Bring the full document set, but do not sign anything that is meant to be signed in front of the notary.

Question 4

What areas does the mobile notary serve?

Accepted Answer

Appointments are available across Brevard County, including Cocoa Beach, Cape Canaveral, Merritt Island, Rockledge, Viera, Melbourne, Palm Bay, Titusville, and nearby communities. Travel fees depend on the distance and appointment time. If you are unsure whether your location is covered, send the address with your request and Ernest will confirm it in writing.

Question 5

How far ahead should I schedule?

Accepted Answer

Whenever possible, request your appointment at least one day ahead so there is time to review the document type and coordinate the best window. Same-day, evening, and weekend appointments are often available when the schedule allows, but they should be requested directly. Include your location, document type, signer count, and preferred time when you book.
